DOC: Thou Shalt Not Tempt The Lord Thy God w/ David Carrico S1:EP5
When I am tempted, it usually means I am considering doing something I know better than to do, something that’s not in my best interest, or something I know doesn’t line up with the Word of God. So what did Jesus mean when He said, “Thou shalt not tempt the Lord they God?” Is it possible to tempt God? Is He tempted in the same way we are tempted? Can we manipulate Him? Is it a little bit of all of this or something completely different? I Wanna Know!
Welcome to “The Doctrine of Christ” teaching series. Each episode will thoroughly dissect each doctrine of Jesus Christ, one at a time. Your hosts are David Carrico of FOJC Radio and Jimmy Cooper of Jimivision Media. This episode explores the doctrine of Christ found in Matthew 4:5-7. “Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.”

Another great one. Thank You both
In your video, it’s the first time I learned, that Satan tempted Jesus to become the antichrist by throwing himself down from the temple. This was very eye-opening.
